Katy Perry & Other 'Sesame Street' Celebrities Who Show Way Too Much Skin

Kim Conte

katy perrySesame Street has pulled a video featuring Katy Perry and Elmo singing a kid-friendly version of her song "Hot 'N Cold" after angry parents complained that her outfit was too suggestive. The company released this statement:

Sesame Street has always been written on two levels, for the child and adult. We use parodies and celebrity segments to interest adults in the show because we know that a child learns best when co-viewing with a parent or care-giver. We also value our viewer's opinions and particularly those of parents. In light of the feedback we've received on the Katy Perry music video which was released on YouTube only, we have decided we will not air the segment on the television broadcast of Sesame Street, which is aimed at preschoolers

But Katy's not the first celebrity on Sesame Street to dress provocatively. Check out these past guests who maybe revealed a little too much.

Norah Jones wasn't afraid to let it all hang out in this baggy long-sleeve t-shirt with a plunging neckline.

Feist should have changed her song to "1, 2, 3, Whore" to match this salacious outfit.

Hugh Jackman turned on fans yet again with his inappropriate, skin-tight t-shirt.

Jenny McCarthy apparently thought she was posing for Playboy when she refused to button that 45th button.

Kara DioGuardi's blanket wasn't enough to cover her chin.

Looks like someone was a little obsessed with his biceps. (Jason Bateman, we're talking to you!)

Sesame Street said Jonah Hill would only be allowed back in the studio if he agreed to wear three shirts next time.

Do you think Katy Perry was too provocatively dressed for Sesame Street? Or do you think people are freaking out about nothing?
