'Burn Notice' Recap: Fiona and Jesse Sitting in a Tree

Things just reached a new level of aww and awkward on Burn Notice this week with the insinuation that Jesse has feelings for Fiona. When you add all the butt kicking she did, Fi was clearly the star of last night's episode, "Where There's Fire."

I didn't see this secret flame thing coming, but I couldn't help but think of how great this makes things. Michael burns Jesse, Jesse turns to Michael to help him find out who burned him, Fi works closely with Jesse, Fi fights with Michael about the whole ordeal, Jesse falls in love with Fi. It's the perfect foundation for a love triangle.

But while the love angle was building up in the background, Fiona was busy building bombs, just the way we like it.

I should've known it'd be a great episode when Fiona told the client and fellow kidnappee, "Sometimes you have to be your own white knight." So very true. Of course, that's really easy if you know how to make bombs out of household items and can cause a big scene discrete enough to steal a cell phone unnoticed, all while looking stunningly beautiful.

I have to admit, I was really happy to see Fiona do something other tell Michael that he's a bad human being. She didn't need to do much to win me over again, but this episode was definitely above and beyond what I expected. At this point, the only thing that can make this better is if they throw in a steamy kissing scene between Fi and Jesse next week.

And as much as Fiona stole the show this week, Maddie came in a close second with her usual combo of snark and insight. No surprise there, really, considering Sharon Gless' Emmy nomination and all. But it's worth pointing out that the women rocked this episode.

Did you love Fiona as much as I did? How do you think this will affect Jesse's reaction when he inevitably learns Michael burned him? And, most importantly, are you Team Michael or Team Jesse?
