'The Hills' Cast: Then and Now

The HillsIt's hard to believe that, after tomorrow night's season finale of The Hills, there will be no more dramatic episodes opening with Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" as a certain blonde drives around LA in a too-nice-for-her-age car.

Okay, so maybe it's not that hard to believe. But my, the cast sure has changed over the last six seasons.

Let's take a stroll down memory lane and see how our favorite California crew has transformed.

Lauren ConradLauren Conrad: After starring in Laguna Beach during her teenage years, we follow Lauren as she delves into the "real world" in LA. Throughout the series, we watched her grow from a Teen Vogue intern, BFF to Heidi Montag, and dating a complete jerk (remember Jason Wahler?) to having a feud with Heidi that rivaled the Cold War and working at a major fashion PR firm. She slowly started fading out of the picture in season 5, wanting to focus on her fashion line and current beau Kyle Howard, and left the show altogether at the season's end.

Spencer and Heidi

Heidi Montag/Spencer Pratt: At the beginning of the series, Heidi and Lauren were inseparable. Roomies, classmates, BFFs for, like, ever -- the whole schpeel. But when Heidi started dating Spencer Pratt, who became crazier as the series went on, her friendship with Lauren went sour. Speidi basically exiled themselves, getting eloped, and then officially married at the end of season 5. They've tried numerous attempts at fame including (but not limiting to): fashion, pop star music, and more reality TV shows. They are now getting a divorce and Heidi looks like a Barbie doll thanks to numerous plastic surgeries

Kristin Cavallari

Kristin Cavallari: From prom queen to maneater, Lauren's nemesis from her Laguna Beach days makes her Hills debut in season 5's finale, and becomes the main interest in season 6. Always one for drama, the cat fights began almost instantaneously.

Audrina Patridge

Audrina Patridge: Originally Lauren and Heidi's neighbor, she moved in with LC when Heidi moved out but she only became a dramatic character when her on-again off-again relationship with bad boy Justin Bobby was finally filmed in season 3. Look for Audrina's new reality show, aptly titled The Audrina Show, to come out in the near future.

Lo Bosworth

Lo Bosworth: A former friend from Laguna Beach, Lo became part of the cast full-time when she moved in with Lauren in season 3. More or less playing the role as "friend," she never really had her own drama, refusing to even reveal her long-time boyfriend until the end of season 6.

Stephanie Pratt

Stephanie Pratt: Sister to Spencer, she immediately got on Lauren's bad side when they had a class together in season 3. However, much to the dismay of Spencer, Stephanie eventually became friends with Lauren and tried hard to help mend Lauren and Heidi's friendship. After Lauren left the show, Steph became close to the rest of the cast members, and somehow managed to deal with them sober (how she did that, I have no idea) after getting a DUI.

Whitney PortWhitney Port: We were introduced to Whitney when she worked with Lauren at Teen Vogue, and she actually helped get Lauren a job at the fashion PR firm, People's Revolution. Whitney left The Hills to follow her dream career in NYC in season 4, but we still were able to watch her as she developed her own fashion line on MTV's The City.

Who is your favorite Hills character? Are you sad to see the series ending?
