The 10 Hottest Guys on TV

Is it getting hot in here? Or is it just all these sizzling small-screen studs steaming up your living room this summer?

From True Blood to Glee -- and everything in between -- we've rounded up the 10 hottest guys on TV. Did your favorite make the list? Check it out.

Taye Diggs from Private Practice

Taye Diggs

Gotta love a man in scrubs. But with his bright eyes and wicked smile, this Private Practice star shows he can work it no matter what he's wearing. With a strong TV pedigree, Diggs, who's also starred on Grey's Anatomy, Day Break, Will & Grace, and Ally McBeal, has solid acting chops to go along with that fine exterior. Plus, he's a beloved husband -- wife is Idina Menzel (Glee) -- and proud papa, so you know he's a total sweetheart in real life, too.

Michael Trevino and Zach Roerig on Vampire DiariesMichael Trevino

Like most CW shows, The Vampire Diaries drips with hotties. But amongst drool-worthy men like Ian Somerhalder and Zach Roerig (right), Mexican-American actor Trevino (90210), as Mayor Lockwood's son Tyler, stands out. Trevino gets to really sink his teeth into a meaty role next season. (Spoiler: werewolf alert!) Haven't checked it out? Tune in for the swoon-factor alone.

Dr. Travis Stork from The Drs.Dr. Travis Stork

Talk about hot doc! Tennessee-based emergency room physician -- and former Bachelor -- Travis Stork serves up practical advice on the syndicated daytime talk show, The Doctors, with a charming, easy-going, but serious bedside manner. In his downtime, the single doc likes mountain-biking and hiking with his dog Nala. Bachelor drama aside, this is a guy you can bring home to mama.

Aziz Ansari on Parks And RecreationAziz Ansari

As self-serving Tom Haverford on NBC's Parks and Recreation, Aziz Ansari may not strike one as hot. But as he demonstrated hosting MTV's Movie Awards this year, Ansari sure can deliver a joke -- which earns him a spot on our hot list for sure. A Judd Apatow staple, you can also catch Ansari in film fare like Get Him to the Greek, Funny People, and I Love You, Man.

Simon Baker as the MentalistSimon Baker

Who knew a man in a suit could be so seductive? Well, we did, naturally. As The Mentalist's unorthodox detective Patrick Jane, Simon Baker -- whom you'll also remember from The Guardian and The Devil Wears Prada -- flashes that brilliant, patented smirk to go with those brilliant, quippy one-liners.

Kyle Chandler from Friday Night LightsKyle Chandler

The show may remain the underdog (although you can check season four now on NBC, Fridays at 8 p.m. EST), but as Friday Night Lights revered and sacrificed coach Eric Taylor, who this season goes up against the very team he nurtured under his careful and caring tutelage, Kyle Chandler definitely makes our list. The strong jaw, the impassioned leadership, the effortlessly functional relationship Chandler's character has with his wife -- what's not to love?

Alexander Skarsgard as vampire Eric on True BloodAlexander Skarsgard

As True Blood's bad-ass bloodsucker Eric Northman, Alexander Skarsgard knows how to leave us swooning every time. And with Eric getting a lot more action this season, we're about to see more of Skarsgard -- son of Stellan Skarsgard and reported boyfriend of Kate Bosworth -- than we ever imagined. Yay!

Neil Patrick Harris on How I Met Your MotherNeil Patrick Harris

Okay, so he's gay. But when a former child star can bust out into the spotlight and regularly steals scenes as womanizer Barney on his hit comedy How I Met Your Mother -- and can totally hold his own up against fellow hottie Matthew Morrison in a song-and-dance challenge on Glee -- you can't deny him. Plus, he's got impeccable comedic timing. And who doesn't love a man who can tell a joke?

Joe Manganiello on True BloodJoe Manganiello

We've already got True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard on the list. But you ain't seen nothing yet. On next Sunday's True Blood, we'll be introduced to Alcide, a werewolf bodyguard assigned by Eric to protect Sookie from the "super-wolves" that have been on the prowl. And well, if Sookie shows a bit of sexual interest in her new companion, who can really blame her? After all, Joe (One Tree Hill), who plays him, is nothing short of sizzling.

Matt Morrison and Mark Salling from Glee

Matthew Morrison and Mark Salling

I know, I know. This officially makes it more than 10. But given Glee's chock-full-o-hotties status, we couldn't pick just one. So we managed to narrow it down to two. As inspirational glee club advisor Mr. Schue, Matthew Morrison had us with his sexy rendition of Kanye West's "Gold Digger," way back in the beginning of season one. And mohawked Mark Salling, as bad-ass Puck, is every mom's nightmare. So naturally, he has us swooning.

Alas, we've more than met our quota. But we're sure you've got more hot guys on your mind. So who tops your TV hot list?
