Miss Michigan, Rima Fakih, is the new Miss USA. She's the first Arab-American to win the crown.

The 24-year-old Lebanese-American from Dearborn, Michigan, stood out in the final five as the only brunette among blonds. Though she tripped while walking in her white evening gown, she recovered nicely, without actually falling down.

When she was asked how she felt after winning, she had the perfect response: "Ask me after I've had a pizza."

Miss Oklahoma, Morgan Elizabeth Woolard, was the runner-up. No word on whether her answer to the question about Arizona's immigration law (she said she supports it) contributed to her loss, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Fakih was given a less controversial question about birth control and if it should be paid for by health insurance. She replied that it should.

According to MissMichiganUSA.com, Fakih dreamed of being a pageant winner since she was a little girl. She has degree in economics from The University of Michigan-Dearborn and has been active in community service throughout the years, particularly in the areas of breast and ovarian cancer awareness. She plans to eventually attend law school.
