"FlashForward," "Scrubs" Are Cancelled: Which Shows Are Returning?

The fate of our favorite TV shows is being finalized, with ABC recently announcing the (surprising?) cut of two of their shows.

FlashForward, which is only in its first season, got axed due to low ratings. I have to say, I wasn't expecting that one. I personally thought it was a pretty good show. It had what I like to call the "Lost factor" in that if you missed one episode, you had no idea what the heck was going on. Worked for Lost, but apparently didn't work for them.

ABC also cut Scrubs, which makes me sad. I didn't tune in on a regular basis, but if an episode happened to be on, I'd watch it and laugh at Zach Braff's character's daydreams.

Rumors are slowly popping up that a couple of favorites may be cancelled, and if it turns out to be true, it's going piss a lot of people off. The first being Law & Order (let the protests begin) and the second is Supernatural. Last night's episode has people wondering if it was the season finale or the series finale.

Other shows that got cut or are ending:

  • Better Off Ted
  • Romantically Challenged (boy, that didn't last long)
  • 24
  • Dollhouse
  • Eastwick
  • Hank
  • Lost (*sniff sniff*)
  • 'Til Death
  • Ugly Betty

Shows that were saved include:

  • V
  • Desperate Housewives
  • Grey's Anatomy (I used to love this show, but I'm really ready to see it come to an end)
  • Private Practice
  • 30 Rock
  • Brothers & Sisters
  • The Big Bang Theory
  • Cougar Town
  • Friday Night Lights
  • How I Met Your Mother
  • The Middle
  • Two and a Half Men (with disgusting Charlie Sheen)
  • Glee
  • Modern Family
  • The Office
  • The Vampire Diaries
