The internets never miss a beat, and it looks like it caught Uncle Jesse out here slipping (LOL). Apparently, John Stamos liked a tweet joking about Lori Loughlin going to jail, and it's safe to say people noticed.

... lots of people.

  • As a refresher, Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are facing up to 40 years (each) in prison for their involvement in an alleged college scam.

... and this was before the former Full House star was hit with a new bribery charge for her reported participation in a college admissions scandal that sent actress Felicity Huffman to prison for less than two weeks. (Seeing as she pleaded guilty and Lori is maintaining her innocence, something tells us Aunt Becky ain't getting off so easy.)

From what we hear, Lori and Mossimo shelled out $500,000 to get their daughters into University of Southern California under the guise of being recruits for the crew team, which they never were. They, and other parents, initially were facing up to 20 years in prison (Lori and Mossimo rejected a plea deal with a two-year prison sentence attached), only to be indicted again -- resulting in that 20 doubling to up to 40 years if they're found guilty.

  • And it looks like Lori's on-screen hubby liked a tweet joking about her possibly spending time behind bars.

TMZ (of course) has a screenshot of John's like that's definitely undeniable. The video clip on the Twitter post shows John in action as Chef Louis during The Little Mermaid Live that recently aired and glamoured us to watch in its full entirety.

"Aunt Becky is going to jail but @JohnStamos is BACK and crushing it on #LittleMermaidLive," the Twitter caption read.

  • And it didn't take long for the internet to chime in.

"Uncle Jessie and Aunt Rebecca definitely got divorced," one person wrote in response.

"That's funny. Has to be a mistake....maybe," mentioned another commenter.

    (Have mercy, LOL.)
  • Welp, as it turns out, it was an accident -- so no harm no foul ... right?

Since the story broke, a "source" close to John told TMZ that the celeb dad liking the tweet about Lori was an "accident." John was in the feels after his live performance and accidentally hit the like button as that tweet got mixed in with others. He's since "unliked" the controversial tweet.

    Still, it's kinda funny.
