Our hearts were saddened to hear reports Paris Jackson tried to take her own life. With so much attention surrounding Leaving Neverland, a documentary that spotlights now-adults who accuse Michael Jackson of molesting them when they were kids, there's speculation it got to the 20-year-old. But things might not be as they seem considering Paris is speaking out about the reports.

TMZ reports Paris Jackson attempted suicide recently that led to her hospitalization on Saturday.

"Law enforcement sources" claim officers headed to Paris's LA home after she "slit her wrists," resulting in EMTs rushing Michael Jackson's daughter to a hospital where she was placed on an involuntary hold, the outlet reports.

Sources claim the 20-year-old's actions "are in direct response" to the allegations against her father, Michael Jackson, in Leaving Neverland.

Paris already broke her silence about the controversial documentary (well, she responded to reports she had something to say as she didn't), but it seems (or is reported) Wade Robson and James Safechuck's accusations didn't sit well with her.

The celeb daughter has been spotted around town with her boyfriend that could suggest she's doing better and is around people who love her and can lift her up during difficult times.

Thank goodness for kind and concerned comments. Whether folks think Michael Jackson is guilty (or not), his children should be off limits -- period.

But it looks like Paris is getting the last word as she has something to say about the attempted suicide reports.

The 20-year-old vehemently denies TMZ's reports she tried to take her own life not too long after the news broke.

Whatever is going on, we hope Paris is okay.

If the reports aren't true, does that also mean her brief time in a hospital recently is also a lie? Seeing as "law enforcement sources" chimed in, we can't imagine them just randomly making it up -- but who knows.

We just hope Paris is good on all accounts.
