I don't want to jinx it, but I finally live in a house where everyone can wipe their own bottoms. We've been diaper free for about six months, thank goodness, but I still vividly recall how tough potty training can be.

In my case, the combination of bodily fluids and a stubborn 3-year-old meant that potty training wasn't all poops and giggles. There were moments of hope followed by days when I imagined having to drop her off at college with a pack of adult diapers and a case of wipes.

But, I'm done now, which means I can just laugh at these funny memes and send my best wishes to the moms out there who are still dealing with the all-too-real potty training struggle.

Don't worry, we're all laughing WITH you, not AT you.

Killing It

Honestly, I think training for a marathon might be easier than getting a stubborn 3-year-old to give up the goods at potty time.

Potty Treats

In our house, we STILL call M&Ms "potty treats." No shame in my bribery game.

Do These People Really Exist?

Wet Spot

Wet spots on the toilet. Wet spots on the floor. Wet spots here, wet spots there. Like living in the worst Dr. Seuss book ever.

Mama Needs a Drink

It is important to stay hydrated when potty training. (Is wine hydration?) Drink up, mama.

The Pledge

When you are cleaning up yet another puddle, it is hard to tell who exactly is in charge around here.

Nope

Why would any kid want to give up the freedom of getting to go whenever and wherever he or she wants? BECAUSE UNDERWEAR IS AWESOME, kid!

Be Strong

I promise: By the time your kid starts college, they WILL be potty trained. Probably even by junior high, at the latest.
