Adorable 6-Year-Old With a Rare Disease Can Zumba With the Best of Us (VIDEO)

With a smile on her face and moves to give Mick Jagger competition, it can be hard to remember Audrey Nethery is battling Diamond-Blackfan anemia, a potentially life-threatening condition. Rather than let it keep her down, this 6-year-old Kentucky gal is raising awareness one Zumba move at a time.

As you can see, Audrey doesn't miss a beat at the 2015 International Zumba Convention for instructors. That alone should speak to her caliber of dancing, which is pretty impressive to say the least.

Would you believe me if I told you 6-year-old Audrey has undergone 20 blood transfusions, as people with her condition reportedly need one every several weeks? This young girl is so incredible and very inspiring! Fans of little Audrey are encouraged to make a donation to the Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation that provides research and support to those battling the rare disorder.

Audrey's Facebook page is full of exhilarating photos and videos -- like this fun number where she dances to "Hit the Quan" with her babysitter.

Here is a short video of Audrey dancing with her friend ( and baby sitter) from school!!

Obviously Audrey has a talent for dancing, even in the midst of uncertainty. Her life and how she continues to see the beauty in things is a testament to both her courage and strength.

Audrey darling, if ever you are in my neck of the woods taking a Zumba class, please call me!
