Kids and adults alike, let's all collectively rejoice and celebrate the latest news. Our beloved children's book author and cartoonist, Dr. Seuss, is releasing a new book, What Pet Should I Get?

Dr. Seuss, whose real name is Theodor "Ted" Seuss Geisel, passed away in 1991. But his widow, Audrey Geisel, found a box with working manuscripts and sketches while remodeling their La Jolla, California, home. The works were rediscovered in 2013, and now Random House Children's Books will publish the original works on July 28, 2015.

"While undeniably special, it is not surprising to me that we found this because Ted always worked on multiple projects and started new things all the time—he was constantly writing and drawing and coming up with ideas for new stories," says Mrs. Geisel. "It is especially heartwarming for me as this year also marks 25 years since the publication of the last book of Ted's career, Oh, the Places You'll Go!"

The timing is perfect, and there are more goodies to come.

According to Susan Brandt, the president of licensing and marketing at Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the text and illustrations were almost completely finished when found. And on top of that, we can expect two more full books from the recent discovery.

Bonus fact: this also gives us all a chance to revisit some of our favorite childhood characters. What Pet Should I Get? features the same brother and sister characters that Dr. Seuss had in One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish and who were also discovered by Geisel's own siblings.

And we, for one, can't wait to read it!
