Huge Recall for Toddler Chairs: What You Need to Know

trend lab chair recallToddlers currently relaxing in their miniature recliners may want to sit up and take note: 17,000 upholstered toddler chairs are being recalled. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that staples are falling out of the chairs and may pose a choking hazard or injury.

This recall goes way back! It's in effect for chairs sold between 2007 and now through online retailers including Amazon.com, BabiesRUs, Target, Walmart, Trendlab, and Seussland. No incidents have been reported. The chairs were imported by a company called Trend Lab from China. Keep reading for the full details.

Look for a Trend Lab label on the bottom of your chair with date codes TL1007C through TL0812C. There are two different kinds of chairs involved in the recall.

Club-style chairs come in the following colors and fabrics. Suede: Brown, pink, avocado green, red, and turquoise blue. Velor: Blue, green, pink, and red. Print: Chocolate dot on pink or blue.

Mod-style chairs come in the following colors and fabrics. Velour: dark pink or zebra in chocolate on blue or pink. Print: Chocolate stripes on pink or blue.
