My lo loves the "stained glass" coloring books from the art store- in fact all the kids enjoy them! Also, those little craft projects, like "making animals with poms" or how to make a picture frame with pop sticks- pretty much anything involving glue and/or glitter, lol. not to mention cd's, my lo loves music, so inexpensive cd's (bought or burned) to listen to in the car are popular with her as well.

my 3 year old is getting a reading thing she keeps telling me she wants to read to herself and to leave her alone she has figured out o few of the words and then she looks at the pictures to help her i hope this hels her feel more independent...but we still have no idea what to get our 2 year old son he just keeps saying he wants juice boxes whenever anyone asks

Pick up sticks for a toddler?! Those things have pointy ends too. I can see that quickly becoming a weapon.
