Oh my! A mom stealing booze from her kid's stash! CafeMom Studios' Coffee Shop Confessions seems to have taken a turn for the very serious here. Don't worry, this confession isn't as bad as it sounds. "My Teenager Supplied the Booze in Our House" starts out as the story of a mom and dad coming home to find their teenage son throwing a wild, drunken house party (kid apparently had a full bar!).

As you might expect, the parents grounded their kid for a month and confiscated all the liquor. Of course they couldn't let all that perfectly good alcohol go to waste ...

I have to admit, I'm a little bit jealous of the anonymous mom featured in this episode of CafeMom Studios' Coffee Shop Confessions: "I Only Go to the Gym for Free Childcare!"

Because the handful of times I tried to leave my clingy, babysitter-selective kids in the colorful, toy-filled daycare room at my gym, I'd log about 5 minutes on the treadmill before an apologetic caregiver would track me down: "Um, I'm sorry, but your son/daughter won't stop screaming ... and the other children are getting scared."

And I was actually going to the gym to exercise! Unlike the aforementioned anonymous mom, who secretly drops her kids off at the gym daycare and goes to the locker room where she reads magazines and surfs the net. And doesn't work out at all!

Clearly the woman feels a little guilty about her scheme, but do the Coffee Shop moms approve?

Hey, everybody bribes their kids now and then, right? One way or another, in some way, shape, or form. As Alex McCord points out in the latest episode of CafeMom Studios' Coffee Shop Confessions, she pays her children for good behavior -- it's called an allowance, and it's the only reason why they make their beds!

Of course the mom featured in this week's all-too-real confession, "I Bribed My Kid for Mother's Day," was talking about a slightly different arrangement ...

    Mornings: I hate them.

I've never liked them (more of a night owl, personally), but now that I have two kids who are as bleary-eyed and dysfunctional when they wake up as their mom, the hours between 6 and 8 a.m. are nothing short of sheer torture. That's why I totally sympathize with the mom featured in this episode of CafeMom Studios' Coffee Shop Confessions: "I Put My Kids to Bed in Their School Clothes!"

I'm pretty sure this is my favorite episode of CafeMom Studios' Coffee Shop Confessions so far! That's because "I Flip My Daughter the Bird" is all about dealing with a teen girl, an experience waiting in my not-too-distant future, and as series regular Timberly Whitfield says in this clip, "I'm scared!"

What am I scared of? Quite honestly, I'm scared of ending up as frustrated and fed up as the mom in the video, who gets so annoyed with her moody adolescent daughter every morning that she "flips her the bird" as soon as she walks out the door.

    Ha! Or, yikes!

Boy, can I ever relate to this week's episode of CafeMom Studios' Coffee Shop Confessions: "I Use Housework to Avoid Playing With My Child." Well, I can sort of relate. See, the anonymous mom in the video has a secret -- she'd rather dust or do dishes than sit down on the floor with her toy car-obsessed son making "vroom, vroom" noises.

I avoid housework at all costs and my kids are both pretty much past the point of making "vroom, vroom" noises, but I still get what this gal is going through. I love my kids more than anything ... still, playing with toys feels and has always felt like a form of torture to me. Even growing up. (Yes, I was an odd child, but that's not the point.) Having my fabulous children did not change my stripes.

So what's a non-playful mom to do? In my opinion, Andrew Shue had the best, most practical advice on the subject ...

Ok, so CafeMom Studios just launched this awesome new show called Coffee Shop Confessions, and I'm already hooked. And I'm not saying that because it's hosted by Andrew Shue (who can resist Billy from Melrose Place?).

I'm loving the concept because there's really nothing better than hearing other moms say things out loud that you feel inside, but may not be willing to admit. Every Friday, the show will feature one anonymous confession from a real mom, which will then be discussed by the mom panel -- Alex McCord from Real Housewives of New York, Timberly Whitfield, and Julia Knight.

Episode 1 premiered today, and the confession featured was a real doozie. One mom admitted that while she adores her kids, she also loves going away alone on business trips to indulge in a little bit of "me" time to relax and unwind. Can I get a huge Amen?
