Thanks for the book ideas, they look good :)
My son is mixed (his daddy's black), so I've been thinking about the fact that this is black history month. These are definitely good suggestions. :)
If my son ever comes to me asking why people have different skin colors or asking why someone said something race related to him, then I'll teach him, otherwise why should I focus on the difference? Yeah it might be a part of his history (I'm half and half and his daddy's white making him 1/4 black even though you'd never know it looking at him), but very few people go around teaching their kids about their "white" heritage so why should blacks get special attention?
