Any mom who hasn't heard of Sitter City yet should check it out—especially if you're a military mom. It's an online service that puts parents together with babysitters, nannies, live-in help, live-out help, tutors—whatever kind of child care you're looking for. It's even got dog walkers.

Caregivers post their profiles (and sometimes their pictures) on Sitter City and you can do a search for those in your area. You can narrow your search by all kinds of factors like how much you want to pay, if you want a non-smoker, someone with a driver's license, etc. The profiles include reviews, references, and background checks, and more.

Sitter City is offering free memberships for military families (the costs are being covered by the Department of Defense). You can check it out here: Welcome Servicemembers and Family Members!
