Mom Confessions: I Lock My Child in His Room

door

It's time for a Mom Confession -- because, let's face it, we're real mothers and sometimes it doesn't work the way the parenting books say it should.

This Week's Confession:

I lock my two-year-old in his room. My in-laws think it's wrong (and I know it sounds wrong), but he would not stop trying to come out of his room. I want to teach him to stay, but at the same time, I want him safe in his room. anonymous
