Raising a toddler can be HARD. And tiring. And tricky. And dirty. And did I say hard?
But alas, on this Thanksgiving day, it's nice to remember what's so wonderful about toddlers too! This day of thanks, let's spread a bit of toddler love around.
5 Reasons I'm Thankful for Toddlerhood
- My toddler gives me lots to laugh about and reminds me not to be so serious about the task of parenting all the time.
- Toddlers are adorable when they finally do go down to sleep.
- Toddler remind you to be FIERCE about getting what you want in life.
- Toddlers don't care if you don't make dinner sometimes; apples and cheese sticks are a perfectly acceptable meal to them, right?
- My 3-year old is my last toddler ever, and I'm so thankful for him every day (even if he refuses to potty train).
I hope you and your toddler and family have a wonderful Thanksgiving together.

I am thankful for toddlerhood too. I am thankful for the unconditional love I get. I am thankful for the little "kids say the darndest things" phrases that my daughter says sometimes. I am thankful that I still get to cuddle her and kiss her boo boos away.
I'm thankful for all the hugs and kisses I get everyday from my daughter. I know when she gets older all that will change so I'm enjoying while I can.
i am thankful for my 2 toddlers everyday but i do remember today that they are toddlers and not adults and im thankful that they make me feel young again and show me the world thru their eyes instead of the serious adult world I see.
I love toddlers! They can be so frustrating, but sometimes they're the coolest people you'll ever know! I'm just thankful for the experience of it all.
I was thinking this same thing...toddlerhood is great! Sure it can be really frustrating but here's my top 6 Favorite Things About Having Toddlers (I have b/g twin 2 yo's)
1. They think I'm perfect. No matter what I fix and heal everything and my very presence is a joy to them! When will that ever happen again?
2. Their little triumphs (going down the big slide, putting on a boot) is monumental and seeing their pride makes my heart grow.
3. You always know where you stand with them. Their "NO" can be strong enough to stop a train on its tracks.
4. They love everything about life (minus lettuce and cleaning up). Through their eyes every part of life and everything in it is joyful and beautiful and interesting and worth exploring.
5. You can't beat the random "I Love You Mama" that comes at the least expected moment that just makes you want to cry because you feel so special
6. Listening to the things they say can be so funny. My daughter says to her doll "Good night sleep tight. I love you...AND I'M NOT COMING BACK IN HERE." Hmm? Do I say that? My son says to his puppy "I love you smelly." Nevermind...
