No my kids don't speak any other language but I'd love to have them have an advantage when they went to school
sign language and some french.
He knows "more" in sign language. I try to read to him in spanish once and awhile but I only took one class in high school so it's not the best.
My son speaks some Spanish. He is really a sponge for it. I would really love to be able to broaden his Spanish speaking horizons.
It seems in this day and age that being bilingual gets you very far!
My two boys know some words in Spanish. Their Father teaches them some and of course by watching Dora they have picked up several words.
we know a few words in spanish. This kit would be great!
Our granddaughters are 2 & 3 and don't really know any other language but they do repeat words while watching Dora. We would love for them to learn!
Mine know a little Spanish from Dora and Diego. They also learned some Chinese from Kai-lan. My stepdad's girlfriend is Chinese and she and my stepdad use a lot of Chinese with them, they have great pronunciation (so she says!) and use it conversationally all the time!
My ILs would love for them to learn Italian but they haven't shown any interest even though they have a ton of exposure from DHs whole family.
Ages 0 to 5??? Really? I'm not sure if this is right for newborns..unless they have something specifically geared for infants vision development, etc like these Wee See DVDS which are awesome http://www.mamaista.com/2009/06/22/art-house-darlings/
My son does not know any other languages right now (he hardly know English) However, I believe it is very important for not only children but adults to learn more than just one language. I wish my parents would have tried to teach me something other than English. I would be able to communicate with more people and It would help just to be overall more successful in life.
