Here's the perfect after-school snack -- high in protein, low on artificial sugars and sweeteners: Brown Rice Crispy Treats from Weelicious. The ones you buy are often loaded with high fructose corn syrup and other stuff you'd probably prefer your tot not have.
You can watch the video for making Brown Rice Crispy Treats, or I've written down the recipe after the jump ...

I have that same brown rice syrup sitting in my kitchen right now, you can get it at Whole Foods too. I will have to try this recipe.
I have some brown rice syrup too...hmmm...I need to pick up some more peanut butter this weekend, might as well get the almond butter too and try this recipe...that and a little crisp brown rice cereal, and this sounds yummy! I'll just need to figure out the calories on these before I can track eating them...with just me and my son, I know I'll be eating the bulk of them!
That sounds great.... how in the heck do I miss all of Lundberg's roducts given the stinking farm is only 30 minutes from my house. I am going to need to stop there next time I am passing through and see if they have it there. This sounds soooo yummy!
