There's no need to make elaborate plans and activities for your toddler just because it's summer.
Keep it simple.
Enjoy a simple day with your toddler today: enjoy a backyard picnic (even an outdoor breakfast!), blow bubbles, or read books slowly, with the attention you never seem to have time for at bedtime. Simple is all kids need sometimes (and you too).

I normally when I can walk with my son while he rides his bike or drives his truck. I try to read to him but he always takes the book and reads to me. (even though the book is upside down)
