I just lived (barely) through FOUR long and oozy days of caring for a tot with the stomach flu, only to get double whammied one day into "wellness" when my oldest got the flu next.
Calgon, take me away!
I really need to get away sometimes. Like now.
I'm thinking I'd like to get in the car and drive a few cities away and meet my girlfriend for coffee and a walk and a talk and a long and leisurely dinner. I think I might have to send her a note and see what she's up to.

Ohh yes i fantasize all the time about laying on the beach in Hawaii. With me and my DH, no kids! It would be so nice.
As far as fallowing through with my plans, i dont. But one day we will. We have talked about going when our youngest is 4 or 5. Boy i cant wait for that day!
I definitely dream about getting away but actually getting out involves me driving down the street to the coffee shop followed by the fabric shop, lol. I don't actually get to go anywhere and when I do go to these two places it's MAYBE twice a month and NOT when I REALLY need it. I'll definitely take what I can get, though!
i dream about getting away and the once in a blue moon i get my sister to watch aiden i usualy have a doctors appt. or something else i cant take him too!!
