How do I toilet train my toddler? There isn't one answer for every toddler, so each week I'll shout out a new success story or quick tip from a CafeMom.
Tip #6: Teach Him to Pee Outside First
I will confess that the biggest help to Sebastian learning to use the potty was teaching him to pee outside. I know that's probably offensive to some people, but we don't live in the city. We live in a very rural area with a small population, and a little toddler pee is going to hurt anything!
This tip from ToddlerBrain82, mom of a 2 year old son

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks like this! Our first clue that our 2yo was ready to potty train came during our first time in the pool for the summer - the swim diaper got soaked, so he took it off and went and peed in the grass! He didn't see this problem with this as the dogs do it, so we knew the time was right. We are now in full-on potty training mode!
That's the great thing about having a son! LOL They can pee anywhere....
Here we go..My little man love to run around the house with no clothes on....he was doing really good until he saw daddy empty water from his potty (after cleaning)...and know he think he can dump his pee all over the house. Daddy also says he's not worried about the pee on the carpet casue we're moving, and now my 2 yr old just pee's where ever he wants. I'm trying to stop this, but since daddy thinks it's ok, he keeps do it. Any idea on how to get him to stop peeing everywhere?
what happens when it's a girl, its hard to let them pee outside specially if you live in the city lol
