What would you do if your preschool-aged daughter claimed to be visited regularly by a ghost in her bedroom at night? The girl has been seeing a little boy, the size of her 7 year old sibling, who wears dusty clothes and stares at the wall.
When asked, the preschooler describes him as sort of a ghost who doesn't float. He just stands in the middle of her room, between her bed and younger sister's bed, and stares at her.
She says the ghost boy never says anything and sometimes walks towards her, but never seems to get there. When the daughter gets up to go to her parents' room in the middle of the night, the boy follows her in but then disappears.
Have your children ever claimed to see ghosts? Did you believe there was something more at play than a creative mind? Please, share the details below.

I have heard several times that children and infants can see things that adults cannot when it comes to the supernatural. I'm one of the undecided when it comes to this, but it is not unfathomable. Thinking about it, though, just makes the hair on my arms stand up.
That little must be tormented by this. Well I would, it raises the hairs on my arm just reading it. I would call a paranormal expert, a priest, and anyone that can get rid of him, lol. I would do everything in my power for that little girl to get some good night sleep. If she is old enough and not spooked enough she can try talking to him since he kind of picked her out and try to see why he is still there. I totally believe that spirits pick people out when they believe that person can help them and that's probably what he is doing. I would still get outside help because not all spirits are friendly, even kid ones.
I'd be moving the frick outta my house...PRONTO!!
its weird, but I'm convinced that my 17 month old can see ghosts - ever since she was born she would look llike she's seeing somone or something, and she still waves at nothing. as long as nothing happens, i guess i'd just leave it alone. she migh grow out of it.
I truely believe in spirits and that your daughter is seeing him. Since he has not tried to harm her before, I don't think he means her any harm. I think he is a little boy that his lost. I am assuming that your daughters room used to be his room and he is wondering who and why is someone in his room. He doesn't realize that he is dead. At seven years old, you don't understand death and can't imagine out living your parents. When he follows her to your room, he is looking for his parents. He thinks she is leading him to them. I would have a paranormal team come in. They can research the house and see if he died there and who he is. Maybe they can bring in a pyschic or priest who can help him get "home" to his parents. There are two shows I never miss....Ghost Hunters (TAPS) and Paranormal State. Maybe you can go to their websites and see if you can get a good recommendation for your area. Until then, try to sleep in her room with her and see if he comes then. Then ask him who he is and what he wants. Maybe he doesn't realize that he can be seen.
Keep me posted! Or just email me if you need a shoulder to cry on or help looking for help in your area. Good luck! And make sure your daughter knows that you believe her. Don't shrug it aside. It can be very scary for a child.
As long as he hasn't tried to hurt her or really scare her, I would just tell her to be polite to him. I used to see the ghost of a small girl when I was a small girl myself. I never really talked to her but I would smile and wave and she would return it. It's one of the only vivid memories I have from way back then. That spirit could end up PROTECTING your home and family, so if it's not a bad one, welcome it.
My best advice to this mom is to have her, her daughter, and anyone else in the house make sure they tell this boy to "cross over". He is obviously a ghost and not just a spirit who has already made it to "heaven", and he needs to go to the other side and into God's light and love.
I myself would be angry that this ghost was scaring my child - if she seemed bothered by it. Even if he never seemed mean, he would still be bothering my child. That would piss me off and I would call everyone and anyone I could to make it go away. That and probably move somewhere else.
I suggest u dont seek a paranormal expert because that makes it worst they usually work with evil spirits. Just bc its a boy doesnt mean it really was a litle boy it could be a demonic spirit in the form of a boy God wouldnt leave his children behind. I think in modern days we have been so fooled with mediums and paranormal shows so dont resort to that. I would just confide in a christian church and look to Jesus as ur refuge. Have an annoineted person come pray for your house and daughter. Say a prayer every night with your daughter and call on his name.Maybe your daughter has a strong purpose in life. Good luck and may God bless you!
