sometimes it doesn't work the way the parenting books say it should.

Confession:
I let my toddlers run around the house, the front porch, and the yard without clothes on.

I see nothing wrong with it, as long as the girl isn't of puberty age. If the girl is developing, then I would have an issue because that's when men start becoming pervs (well, men are always pervs, but you know what I mean.) -- anonymous
I'm not worried about perverts looking at my child naked. These people are so sick and twisted that they don't need to actually see a naked body.They get as much arousal out of a fully clothed kid at the store. There's not a thing we can do about it but be vigilant and protect our kids. And I, for one, am not going to let some sicko curtail my enjoyment of life, particularly on my own property, by dictating what my child does or does not wear. -- anonymous
Is there any danger in letting toddlers go naked in public? Is it a matter of safety or modesty? Do you find it indecent -- even at such a young age?

Out in the country, sure. In a fenced in yard...sure. But not anywhere someone has a busy road running by them...not only is it where pedophiles can see, but also where law enforcement can, and they might fine you for it.
I'm comfortable with my boys wearing their birthday suits in the backyard or in the house because it's fenced in. I know the folks in my neighborhood enough that the front yard would be ok too (we'd certainly be the talk of the block).
HELL NO! you never know what kinds of perverts are out there these days. plus, what does that teach your child? so, I guess for the ppl who do this, don't get mad if your kid grows up to be a stripper or posing for a dirty magezine...after all, you let them run naked in public so in their inncoent minds that's ok to them.
My son goes from his room to the bath tub (in my room) naked but there are too many freaks and pervs out there that like young young kids that it doesn't even matter if I live on a dead end road (very last house) or not. You just never know who could be watching (my house is surrounded by trees).
At my moms out in the country yes in a back yard yes at home yes. but out by a street where a perv could not only look at her the wrong way but TAKE PICURES AND PUT THEM ON THE INTERNET, NOOOO WAY! a diaper maybe but not nude.
Only in the backyard, but since our privacy fence fell down Daddy put a stop to that
avasmom, that's a little ridiculous to make the jump from a kiddo playing naked in the front yard to being a stripper. :)
All kids like to be naked, but mine are only aloud to do it in the house! I love to see their tiny round tushies, but I don't want anyone else enjoying the site!

Not where any Joe Schmoe can see them! If it's inside a solidly fenced yard, where there's some privacy, go for it! My kids are frequently naked around the house, but that's the privacy of our own home.
