Congratulations to our winner, sleepy_mommy! Thanks for entering and keep checking the Daily Buzz every week for more chances to win cool kid stuff.
How could something as simple as a car seat be so confusing!? I don't know about you, but I have questions. Can my 4-year-old, 30-pound daughter go in a booster yet? Are backless boosters as safe as boosters with high-backs?
So all this week, my fellow Daily Buzz parenting bloggers and I are talking with safety experts both on and off CafeMom about child passenger seat safety.
But before that, how'd you like to win a new car seat? Look for contests today in Pregnancy Buzz, Baby Buzz, Big Kid Buzz, and right here in Toddler Buzz, where I'm giving away one Graco Nautilus 3-in-One convertible toddler seat/booster seat.
One mom who replies to this post with a comment by 11:59pm (EST) on Friday, January 30, 2009 will be chosen at random to receive the Nautilus 3-in-One Car Seat (Bravo style)*.
Each mom can only win one per channel, no matter how many times you comment.
To enter, you have to ask the experts a question:
What confuses you most about the installation or use of your child passenger seat? What car seat question would you most like an answer to?
The Nautilus, worth $180, includes a 5-point harness for children 20 pounds to 65 pounds. It converts into a high-back belt positioning booster for kids 30 to 100 pounds, and a backless booster for 40 to 100 pounds.
*No Purchase Necessary. Starts January 26, 2009 at 8 a.m. EST and ends January 30, 2009 at 11:59pm EST. Open to U.S. residents, 16 years and older, who are CafeMom members. Void where prohibited. Click here for Official Rules.
Meantime, I'll try to get an answer to your question -- and if you have time, check out readyfortheroadahead.com, which offers a car seat selector, product videos, and blogs about traveling with kids.

That is such a great seat, I am stuck between buying my 2year old that or a Britax.
my 23lb 11 month old just outgrew his carrier carseat and we have a very small car. What is the best small carseat to use? Do they make "space-saver ones?"
I have one already for my son and plan on getting one for my daughter. It's fantastic.
Should I have my car seat cover cleaned by the dry cleaners or do it at home?
We are looking into ths car seat for the second car when my son is big enought of course we will use it!
I wonder if it is installed correctly and is it safe enough ,and what do you clean it with?
What is the best way to keep a carseat secured tightly, without the latch system? It seems like every couple of months I have to take my daughters carseat out and put it back in because it is loose in the seat of the car!
This is the seat I have been dying to get gor my chunky 2 year old. My question is this... why is the middle clip that comes up between the legs so darn short on so many car seats? It hurts chunky little legs!!
What confuses you most about the installation or use of your child passenger seat?
What confuses me the most it proper use with a seat belt. I have an older car that does not have the latch system. It also doesn't have the type of latch where it slides, so you are suppose to use that little silver thing, but it does have a locking seat belt, preventing it from sliding. So do I still have to use the silver thing, which is soooo hard to install properly! (I use both - the silver thing and lock the seat belt!)
What car seat question would you most like an answer to?
Why is it that they don't make 5 point harness car seats for kids up to 100lbs? Someone said that they saw one that did, but it was EXPENSIVE!! So those of us who can't afford that kind of money can't keep our kids safe???
my qusetion is now that my DS is three is it safe for him to ride in a high back boster seat now?
What confuses me most is the best placement of the careseat in my vehicle i feel that different seats fit it differently.
I like the question above, i guess its more of a statement saying that we wish that more carseats that were safer and harnessed longer were cheaper, why is it that they are so expensive!
