Mom Says Cartoon Taught Her 2-Year-Old the F-Word & She Could Be Right (VIDEO)

Plenty of parents let their toddlers watch a little TV here and there, but they're always careful to make sure they are viewing shows that are appropriate for their age level. What harm can a cute cartoon do?

Well, one mom in the U.K. is outraged after she says her 2-year-old learned the "F" word by watching Peppa Pig.

Natalie Cox couldn't believe her ears when her daughter, Kiannah, blurted out the words "f***ing gazelles" after watching the "Madame Gazelle's Leaving Party" episode from her Peppa Pig DVD collection.

As it turns out, the line in the show is actually saying "rocking gazelles," but as you will hear in this video, it really does sound like the "F" word.

Did you hear rocking ... or f***ing?

Yeah. Me too. Unless the rabbit (or whatever he is) just has a really thick French accent or something.

And while I can't blame Natalie for being pretty upset, I highly doubt this has scarred Kiannah for life or anything. Since she's only 2, there's plenty of time to correct and clean up her vocabulary so she doesn't go around saying "f***ing this, f***ing that" ... (even though there's a certain hilarious factor that's worth appreciating).

Although Natalie might want to think about paying a little closer attention to any future Peppa Pig episodes the tot happens to watch. You know ... just in case there's anything else hidden in there that's borderline shady.

Do you think this mom has a right to be upset?

I heard rocking gazelles but regardless it's up to her to parent and teach her child. Not a tv show. That a toddler probably shouldn't be watching anyway.

Oh for goodness sakes!!! It doesn't sound anything like the F word. The show is Brittish, the characters have accents. If the child picked up on just that one word and is using it like the "f" word, then I'm thinking she's hearing it from someone in her own home, not TV, like maybe HER MOTHER.

I heard "rocking gazelles".  Obviously, the baby may have issues saying an "R" word and since we really have NO IDEA who Natalie Cox is, I'm boing to through caution to the wind and say her daughter may have picked it up from around the house.  And I co-sign that it's up to the parent (gaurdian) to create a better vocabulary and to teach acceptable words.

I heard "rocking gazelles" clearly and it didn't sound like the F-word. Maybe she swore in front of her child and is trying to cover it up.

I heard "rocking" too.  I've seen this episode (way too many times) as well.  Babies & toddlers around the world mispronounce things.  A little boy I know used to say "fuck" instead of "frog".  His mother didn't get bent out of shape because people said the word "frog".  This mother needs to calm down & just keep pronouning the word correctly & eventually the little girl will get it.  It never ceases to amaze me the things that people will get up in arms about!
