'Teen Mom' Chelsea Houska Lets Her 4-Year-Old Apply Her Makeup (PHOTO)

Awww! 2

chelsea houskaJust when you thought Chelsea Houska and her adorable daughter couldn't get any g.d. cuter, Chelsea goes and posts a pic of little Aubree doing her makeup to Instagram. Aubree doing her mom's makeup, not Aubree doing Aubree's makeup. The latter might be weird and pageant-y. The former is nothing short of eating an ice cream sundae whilst sitting on a unicorn in heaven while One Direction performs live.

I always think it's hilarious and super cute when little boys or girls put makeup on (aka look like insane clowns) or put makeup on mom (aka make mom look like an insane clown). It's so sweet and innocent. It's before makeup becomes "serious"; before makeup becomes a way to look younger or prettier Angelina Jolie-ish. It's just good, clean, silly fun. What toddler wouldn't want to draw all over their face like a maniac?

I think it's cool that Chelsea lets her 4-year-old daughter apply her lipstick. That had to be a dream for little Aubree! I also think it's unfair that Aubree seems to know how to apply it better than I do. Guess that's what happens when your mom's a fancy-pants makeup artist who's all but patented the smoky eye.

When my daughter gets a bit older, I fully intend on letting her "do my makeup" on occasion for the hell of it. Why not, right? I'll look like an idiot, but I'm sure it will be a blast for her. Also, I won't leave the house after.

Have you ever let your kid do your makeup?

My sister and I did our moms makeup, hair, and nails when we were little. I remember it being so much fun. Now that we are older I do my sister and moms makeup when they want to go out...and my sister does our hair. Still fun to this day even though its not the fun silly makeup and hair. And now that my nieces are the right age we intend to have our fun silly makeover nights.
