Farrah Abraham’s Daughter Still Hooked on Pacifier at 4 ½

Eye Roll 125

sophia pacifierOh Farrah Abraham. You're so busy chasing rainbows and raspberry tones, you've let your daughter keep up a dangerous habit. Look at your kid. LOOK AT HER. Sophia is almost 5 years old, and she's still got a freakin' pacifier in her mouth. I thought she was weaned from that thing a long time ago.

Teen Mom just posted a photo of Sophia hosting a tea party. She's wearing an adorable little crown, a princess dress, and something that's going to ruin her teeth. Hello, troll bait! Fine, I'll bite. But not just because she's too old for that pacifier -- remember Passy's Perfume? Ring any bells, Ms. Abraham?

We were skeptical when that first came out. Bribing your kid with perfume to get rid of the binky -- yeah right. Now we know Farrah apparently forgot an important step. Throwing the damn things away! How did this kid relapse? I'm guessing her "pusher" got her hooked again. I don't know how or when. Maybe Farrah was having a bad day, maybe she needed some peace and quiet so she could focus on the script for her sex tape. But at some point, Farrah gave in to the pacifier demands.

And now here we are, with a habit that's harder to break than ever. What's she going to do now?

Well, if it's any consolation, Farrah is not alone. Plenty of other parents out there have lost their will and allowed their kids to relapse on the pacifier. And we judge them And I have compassion for those parents, really I do. Sometimes getting rid of the binky is harder for the parents than for the kids. But Farrah should see this as a golden Farrah-type opportunity. Passy's Perfume II -- The Sequel! Yes, the heart-warming story of how Farrah weaned her daughter off the binky AGAIN, this time using a more sophisticated fragrance suited more for a kindergartner than a toddler. Can't wait to see it.

Has your child ever relapsed on the binky or their favorite security blanket?

With her mother, she's going to have much bigger problems then a pacifier.

I didn't use a pacifier or suck my thumb and I had to wear braces for years. My brother sucked his thumb for years and has perfect teeth. I don't buy the "it'll ruin their teeth" if they use a paci or suck their thumb.

My nephew used a pacifier 24/7 until he was four or so. It didn't ruin his teeth, but it definately ruined his speech. He has to work regularly with a speech therapist. When he was younger, you literally couldn't understand a word he said. Thanks to the speech therapist, it is better but he still has quite a lisp.

We got really lucky--my daughter stopped taking the paci on her own when she was about 5 months old. Just lost interest.

I promise not to care if your kid uses a paci until five, which can cause many issues, if you leave me alone over nursing my almost three year old, which is actually really good for the both of us.

Well maybe if she stayed home a little more instead of making porn, her daughter wouldn't still use one.

I hope that Farrah or someone will take that away from her. Unfortunately, as a speech therapist, it could, and more than likely will, affect her speech. I do sympathize for the child, Farrah isn't exactly Mom of the Year.
