Anyone who's ever spent a significant amount of time with a toddler knows that little kids live in a world governed by a completely different set of rules -- their own! The only way to survive? Forget everything you've ever believed to be true and play along. (Or suffer the consequences, mwahahaha.) That's what the short film Convos With My 2-Year-Old: Episode 1 is all about. Matthew Clarke had the clever idea to re-enact actual conversations between his 2-year-old daughter Coco and himself, with a grown man playing Coco (pink hair barrette and all). The resulting video, as you can probably guess, is really, really funny.
The most amusing part, to me, is watching Clarke -- the dad -- go from mild indignation ("She's my wife. I can talk to her whenever I want and she can talk to me whenever she wants.") to defeated resignation. No point in fighting it. She's the princess, sigh.

Frighteningly familiar, right? Because the truth is ... we're all just a little bit terrified of our toddlers. And that's pretty funny.
