Talk about true superheroes. In Memphis some children lying sick in the hospital recently got one amazing surprise. Amidst the drone of monitors beeping and painful blood draws, there were Spider-Man and Captain America right there before their very eyes, scaling the hospital.
According to ABC, the awesome surprise was the work of the company that cleans the hospital's windows, American National Skyline. They wanted to put some cheer in the young patients' days, and so they donned the superhero outfits and got to work.
To say the kids (and their parents) were delighted is a massive understatement. Check out the video after the jump.

What a simple and amazing way to brighten the day of some kids whose days surely need brightening.
Steve Oszaniec, who has worked for the company for 23 years, told ABC: “The kids always come up to the window and ask us, 'Are you Spider-Man?' So I came up with the idea of, ‘Why don’t we just show up as Spider-Man?’”
Why not, indeed.
Besides the three months after my son was born prematurely, neither of my children has spent any time in the hospital, but I can only imagine what a frightening and lonely place it has to be for them. While their friends are off at school and soccer games, there they are stuck in a room with only a window's view of the world. So to put a little wow in that window is a pretty special thing.

WOW THAT'S AWESOME!!
I saw a meme on facebook a few weeks ago but I wasn't sure if it was real. I'm glad to see that it is. That's very sweet that they would take the time out of their day to do that for the kids.
That is so amazing. These people truly are heroes. Bringing hope to sick children...truely awesome
What wonderful men to do that. I'm sure it will be spoken for months byt those children. truely amazing thing to do for them!
