Dolls and toys for kids are meant to be joyful and sweet. They are meant to spark imagination and give children good dreams for their future. Sometimes, though, that all backfires.
Who hasn't seen a horror movie (or four) about a doll? Let's face it, some dolls are creepy as hell. Their broken faces seem to cry over better days, their glassy eyes tell of unspeakable horrors. It's almost too much to bear.
Maybe it's just because I have seen too many horror movies, but dolls, particularly old ones, scare me to death. Here are 8 of the scariest dolls I have ever seen. Warning: These dolls aren't for kids!

They looked like ordinary antique dolls to me, except for the "fat little freak" doll looked like something from the halloween store or gothic type doll, but just dolls still the same. I'm probably just desensitized to the way the world has become...
a friend of mine had a doll that was her grandmothers. she kept it in an old chair at the end of her bed. the first time I went to her home and walked in the room, I actually screamed out loud when I saw it. I have no idea how she slept in that room with that damn doll.
i felt sorry for all of them except #7....
ok 1 & 7 were creepy but most just need to be restored because they're really old. That "smiling monster" doll was Shirley Temple! And that Kimono "doll" wasn't a doll at all, it was a child sized mannequin. Lots of places use limbless mannequins these days.
so creepy
The smiling monster doll is an old Shirly Temple doll. My grandma has one.
#7 is super duper creepy
