I've imagined a million times what life must look like to my toddler daughter. As bizarre and baffling as her behavior is to me, I can only imagine what the world looks like from where she's standing (or laying whilst throwing a tantrum). One clever dad captured at least a little slice of toddler insight during a delightful game of hide-and-seek.
English filmmaker Daniel Brace strapped a head camera on 2-year-old Olivia, and let the game begin. You see her chasing him through the apartment, and the sweet squeals when she finally finds him. Watch after the jump.
It's adorable, and her little voice and feet pitter pattering are priceless.
Wouldn't you love to strap one of those to your kids' heads and see what life is really like for them in so many instances? From school to their seat in the grocery cart, you know the world must look so different to them than it does to us. I think it's helpful for us to remember that, whether it's in fun and games like this or in that moment when their milk spills all over the table AGAIN, they're playing from a different vantage point.
What activity would you most like to see from your toddler's point of view?
