Supermodel Linda Evangelista wants $46,000 a month for child support from Salma Hayek's now husband, Francois-Henri Pinault. That's almost FIFTY. THOUSAND. A MONTH. What do you even do with that much money? For a 5-year-old!
It sounds ridonkulous and greedy. Does baby need more shoes, or does mama? Even when you add in the $15K a month for a chauffeur and $7K a month for the nanny, it sounds exorbitant (or do I mean extortionist?). But this isn't about paying "mom support." I actually think Linda is totally justified for demanding this much money.
First of all, there's little Augustin's half-sister. Pinault provides very poshly-well for his daughter with Salma, Valentina. (And good for Val and Salma!) $50K is how much Pinault recently spent on a two-week vacation with his family. Plus he's got a $12 million home in trust for Valentina just in case he and Salma split. It's estimated that he makes about $4 million a year and his family is worth around $13 billion.
So given all of that (swoon), it's a little indecent not to provide for your son at least near that level.
And secondly, if Francois didn't want to provide for another child, he should have used some damn birth control! Tell him, 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom cast members. There are consequences for unprotected sex. Pinault claims that when Linda told him she was pregnant, he made it clear that he didn't want the baby -- and Linda had the baby anyway. But tough! His seed, his responsibility.
On behalf of all the women in the world who have been stiffed by irresponsible baby-daddies, I think we all need to see Pinault pay up.

Miss Evangelista needs to get paid! I am mad that for his son it's too much money but for his daughter it is not. One day he will regret it!! BTW, a lot of the money she is asking for is for PROTECTION so that her son is safe. I mean he is the child of one of the wealthiest men in the world.

If you think any woman deserves 50,000 a month in support you are an idiot. A fucking class A idiot. And a greedy woman to boot. I despise women like this. I understand a trust that is equal to the other childs but she does NOT deserve 50,000 a month.
I don't know. After reading the word "ridonkulous", I found it very hard to focus on the topic at hand.
No child needs 50K a month to get by. However, if it's good for one of his children, damn right he should fork over as much for the other.
On a side note -- NO WONDER the privileged children of society grown up to be such assholes. They learn the value of nothing. Money, Money, Money..........
