Once toddlers get the hang of talking, they certainly like to chat up a storm and these two little guys are no different. But because one of them is deaf and the other is a little hard of hearing, they communicate with each other -- and their parents -- through sign language (ASL).
Their parents (dad is deaf too) say the boys had no language skills when they adopted the boys just six months ago -- and now look at them go.
You can't shut these two up!
Take a look at this sweet video to see what these two chatterboxes have to say about the car repair shop they're visiting and the airport they drive by.

They're cute. Looks normal to me! Just using a different means of communication.
I feel like this is kind of... condescending to these kids.
Like, 'I can't believe how inquisitive these deaf kids are. I mean, I never though they'd have just as many questions as hearing kids do. Deaf kids are just as cute as hearing kids! Weird!'
& if it's about how fast they've picked up signing... I guess that's quick? Don't hearing kids pick up language just as fast? idk... something just rubs me the wrong way.
What irritates me is the lack of good car seat usage. I sincerely hope the parents have corrected the straps and tightened them. Also the chest clip should be at armpit level. The kiddo on the right is not safe at all. They did better with the kiddo on the left. The little one on the right needs the HUGS pads actually surrounding the chest clip like the manual says. They are not strap covers. They are an important part of the car seat and should be used properly. They are cute kids though.
None of my children picked up language skills in 6 months time! I'd still call that FAST! Granted they are a bit older, but it is neat to watch. They must have been so excited to finally learn how to communicate with each other!!
lol how cute , I am sure they were so excited to learn to communicate with each other :-)
Such a cute video!! They are so sweet!! I can't wait to be a mommy :)
jaxmadre - I did not take it like that at all.....I took it as "look at these cute twin toddlers signing up a storm!"....guess it depends on what YOU are thinking when you watch something. Everything is subjective.
I had the same thought when the boy on the left started wiggling- his belts are too loose. and THEN I saw the other one's. Good grief.
