Whether the story of "Jack and the Beanstalk" is one of your favorites or not, you'll love this version as told by 2-year-old Dalton. It's pretty impressive that the toddler memorized the whole story, which is pretty long, but his enthusiasm for it is just awesome ... and contagious.
His aunt reads with him, but he fills in the bulk of it with all the emotion and intonation of a skilled performer. Somebody needs to get the kid an agent; he's clearly got some theatrical talent in his blood. Check him out:
I wonder just how many times his parents have read that book to him. It's funny (for awhile) when kids get stuck on one in particular and want to read it over, and over, and over. Currently for my daughter, it's Put Me in the Zoo, which I could now recite backwards in my sleep, possibly in a couple different languages, if I tried. Maybe I'll get out the video camera and see what she's got.
