Anyone who has ever wondered what is in Dora the Explorer's backpack can rest easy now. Turns out? It's a meth lab.

Yes, Dora is a tweaker. Or, at least that's what police in Tulsa, Oklahoma, think after they stopped a car for a traffic violation and found a married couple, their two young toddlers, and the components of a meth lab inside the 2-year-old's pink Dora backpack.

Maybe someone is hoping that backpack talks clearly after all.

And for those keeping score, this week is a Bad Parents: 4, Sane Parents: 0 kind of week.

Crazy.

The children were taken away and placed with the Department of Human Services, but still, let me reiterate:

They found the makings of a meth lab in a child's backpack. A 2-year-old's backpack. Oy.

So here is a start for all those who seem to have missed the memo that specified that you must feed, clothe, and love your children (not beat, rape, or use their backpack for your drug paraphernalia).

  • Coloring Book

Things that SHOULD NOT:

  • Acetic Acid
  • Acetic Anhydride
  • Ammonia
  • Benzyl Chloride
  • Hydriodic Acid
  • Methylamine
  • Perchloric Acid
  • Phosphine
  • Thionyl Chloride

It's a very simple formula and easy to follow. Keep this list next to your child's backpack, and when you feel the need to start stuffing it full of these latter items, refer to it.
