Emmett Trapp

In a horrifying conclusion, the missing 2-year-old, Emmett Trapp (his name is spelled differently in two separate articles), was found dead about one mile away from his home. He was discovered in a wooded area around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Police are treating the area as a crime scene.

Two toddler boys went missing in the past two weeks in Yavapai County, Arizona. The first little boy to disappear from his family's campsite, Sylar Newton, has still not been found.

Sadly, since Newton disappeared only wearing a diaper, it is not believed a 2-year-old could survive more than 96 hours in the outdoor elements.

Trapp was believed to have slipped out of his home while his mother was napping, but it looks like things took an awful turn from wandering child to homicide. Let's hope they find who is responsible for this little boy's death, rather than making sure he got home safe and sound.

My thoughts are with the Trapp family and the Newton family as they mourn the loss of their beautiful boys.
