Sometimes the news is a whole lot of "this is not my life ... but I wish it was."
- Last week Celebrity Baby Scoop threw up a cute picture of actress Naomi Watts pushing her stroller around town. Which sounds like an every mother's life kind of thing -- until you notice son Sasha sitting contentedly in the front seat of the double stroller. Say what? My toddler would never do that, so Naomi, when you have a sec: Call me, I want to pick your brain. -- Celebrity Baby Scoop
- Showing off my daughter's artwork consists of a magnet and the fridge, but these moms get fancy. And I would buy one of these cool museum quality exhibits ... if I ever thought I'd use one. -- Lil Sugar
- Hiking with kids sounds like ... torture? Not the way this mom tells it. Her tips almost make me want to pack up the kid and hit the hills. Almost. -- Savvy Source via Yahoo! Shine

if i had a double stroller my 4 yr old would sit on it. lol glad i don't have to push two though =-D
Some months back, I was mortified to read a thread in Urbanbaby.com (Boston edition) railing on parents who use strollers for their toddlers in urban areas, on busses, the subway etc. The general consensus being, if the kid's old enough to walk, you as a parent are being lazy, selfish, and sucking up valuable urban real estate putting them in a stroller. Yeah, right cluless ones.
I beg to differ. Kids are so unpredictable... LO's go after everything interesting. If they are willing to sit in a stroller while you go about your errands, HURRAY! Ever try schlepping a screaming 21/2 year old to 3 or 4 errands? Not their bag.
So. Jeanne. I tell my toddler the big people can't see her, because she's still a small person, but they can see Mama and won't step on HER toes. Plus, she like zooming around when we're free and clear of all those "fannys in her face" as she puts it.
Good for Naomi.
my son is 2 and a half and still loves sitting in the stroller
my 3 1/2 and my 19 month old ride in their double stroller, why? because when I'm out shopping I refuse to be one of those mothers who are constantly calling out "john, come her, john stop that, john stay where I can see you, John get out from under there" - my 3 yr old is a girl btw but still, hearing that is annoying as hell, you can't get anything done, yeah, no thank you.
My 4 year old and 2 year old have no problems sitting in a stroller.
