This week, Toddlers and Tiaras went north to New York for the Darling Divas pageant in Brooklyn, New York. That's right; pageants don't just happen in the South, ya'll.
But despite the change in locale, the pageant, contestants, and parents were mostly the same.
Well, except Liana's mom, who was just a bit creepy in her calm, I-don't-like-useless-emotion manner. And for her, it seems "useless" emotions are ALL emotions. Her voice never changed octaves during the entire show in which she refused to "hoot and holler."
She made her daughter Liana's dress and did her makeup to save money, which is admirable. But if she's trying so hard to save money, perhaps she could hawk some of those crazy figurines cluttering her shelves?
Also, her daughter, 8, who the other contestants nicknamed "long-haired girl," REALLY needs a haircut (it's 42 inches long and has never been cut!).
Kylie, 3, was actually adorable and hilarious. Not surprisingly, she took home the big prize of the night, especially after her impressive rendition of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean." And I have to say Kylie was one of the only young contestants I've ever seen that actually seemed to be enjoying the whole experience instead of being forced into it.
Whether that's a good or bad thing, I don't know ...
The best line of the night came from Keanna's grandmother, Edna, when she saw her young granddaughter try on her flippers.
"Fake teeth is for old people, and Keanna is only 5, " she said, while howling with laughter.
Exactly!

Keanna's grandma was the best! truer words ...
I know Kylie, she lives in my community. I knew she was gonna win, shes awesome. If Kylie's mom or dad reads this, email me at loveableliv13@aim.com. I miss you guys! We have to visit each other!
I get that Liana's mom did not do her best for her kid, but when she talked about a woman and her two kids booing her from the front row. That got me angry, that was so low-rent, was this woman's kid in the pageant? would she like her kid to be booed? I've watched many pageants and I've never seen or heard of booing before maybe when there is a pageant in brooklyn again maybe the mothers should be given a class in how to behave and to tell their families how to behave.
I was wondering what is Kylies last name? I want to make a montage of her, but I don't know her last name so I cant find pics. Anyone help?!
i hated liana she was so ugly and obviously horrible at pageants because she got the lowest you can get. i suggest no more pageants for liana!
Keeana: she was adorable:) and did great for her first pageant! confidence is everything!
Kylie: she is such a cutie! she did amazing at this pageant:) i loved her!
