A language development test revealed that dogs can learn 165 words (similar to a 2-year-old child), including signals and gestures, and dogs in the top 20 percent in intelligence can learn 250 words.
You won't even believe a pooches math skills...
Our furry friends would out score a three or four-year-old in basic arithmetic, the study finds. In terms of social smarts, yep, those wagging tails at the dog park mean one thing -- they even make friends better than our offspring!
I grew up with a golden retriever and right now my son and I don't have a dog -- good thing, I wouldn't want to deal with the sibling rivalry!
