It's time for a Mom Confession -- because, let's face it, we're real mothers and sometimes it doesn't work the way the parenting books say it should.

This Week's Confession:

"Every time we have a play date with my friend and her son, he hits, shoves, and bites my daughter. At first she puts up with it, says, "No!" and walks away, but inevitably by the end of the play date, she'll push him back. Then my friend has the nerve to say something about my kid. My daughter has play dates with lots of kids and she doesn't hit any of them, nor do they hit her. I don't want her to learn bad behavior from my friend's son. It's gotten so bad, I don't want to have play dates with them anymore. I think it's going to ruin our friendship." -- anonymous

Have you ever ended a friendship because you thought someone's child was a bad influence?
