In the Garden; Innovative Kids
My mom just gave my daughter the cutest book. In the Garden is a sweetly illustrated book that teaches kids about different fruits and vegetables, the way they grow, and how yummy they are to eat (so that kids can grow too).

At the back of the book, there's a "parent page" with some handy organic-gardening tips, a how-to on growing cherry tomatoes, and two tasty organic recipes (one for fruit slush and one for applesauce).

In the Garden ($6.99) is part of the Innovative Kids Green Start series designed to make children aware of the world around them and learn to live in a more eco-friendly way. There's a book on animals, helping the earth, the five senses, and more. The books are printed on 98% post-consumer recycled materials with eco-friendly ink.

So, Grammy, when can we expect the rest of the series?
