It's time for a Mom Confession -- because, let's face it, we're real mothers and sometimes it doesn't work the way the parenting books say it should.
This Week's Confession:
I let my son drink coffee because it calms him down. He used to be a little hyper and had a very short attention span. One day he grabbed my coffee and drank some -- the rest ot the morning he was a calm, attentive little angel. So I experimented. I would go days without giving him coffee, and he was hyper. Other days, I'd give him some (less than half a cup), and there was that little angel again. So now I always give him a small cup, and we enjoy our morning coffee together. -- anonymous
We all have secrets -- so thanks to this brave mom for sharing her honest thoughts, and thank you for keeping this conversation non-judgmental!
