It's been almost a year since Angelina Jolie's powerful op-ed about her preventative double mastectomy ran in The New York Times. And the actress, director, and mother of six is now speaking out about what's next for her and poignant experiences that stemmed from "coming out" with the personal news.
In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly for their March 14 issue, Angie admitted, referring to a prophylactic oophorectomy to prevent ovarian cancer, "There's still another surgery to have, which I haven't yet. I'll, you know, I'll get advice from all these wonderful people who I've been talking to, to get through that next stage." By wonderful people, she means not only the doctors who've supported her journey, but regular people she's met and bonded with over the past year.
