More tweens and teen girls seem to be getting these barely-there removals lately -- this I know from my own real-life circle of moms with older girls.
Boy, oh, boy I can't even imagine how my mother would have reacted if I had requested one when I was a tween!
She and my father nearly had a heart attack when I came downstairs one morning and announced that I had gotten a tattoo, displaying the string-bean size green and brown snake on my bicep. OMG, It was fake! It took another 10 minutes to convince them I was only joking!

If my daughter is wearing a piece that could possibly expose her pubic hair and embarass her, then I would pay for her to get a Brazillian. It may be a bathing suit, or a leotard for dance or gymnastics, etc I don't think there's anything wrong with keeping that area from getting unruly, the reasons are not ALWAYS sexual.
My daughter had better not wear anything requiring a wax in the first place if I'm providing a roof over her head. Let alone ask me for one for the fun of it. Nooooo........
I have a 12 year old daughter and recently we have encountered some embarrassing hair issues. We exercise at the YMCA and this year we got a boy short swim suit just for that purpose "HAIR" well it came out at the YMCA pool and was very embarrassing for her. So I agree with trimming and shaving a must for all coming into age little women as far as paying someone to take the hair no ....the is already a piece of work in itself!!
If they can pay for it and want it, yes, why not? I don't think sex has anything to do with it, you just want the hair gone! wather it is for swimsuits or to just be cooler down there and better hygene! I would say one time would do it and they will just shave there from then on!
uh no.. u want it basically bald. heres a razor or get a job and a car to get you there. if you are under 18 i wanna be in there with you so i can laugh at you as they rip off the hair on your most sensive area. 1..2...3.. riiiipppp. haha! bet you aint gonna do that again. lol. easy for me to say i have a ds. lol.
I started shaving all of that when I was 14 I think. But no way in hell would I ask my mom to pay for that. It's purely 1-sexual and 2-a luxery. Use a razor like all us other chicks. I think it would hurt SOOO bad to get it waxed. And now i'm almost 21 and I still shave it but never waxed. And I regret ever starting to shave it because i grow hair in very unattractive places now and actually need a brazilian wax but I'm too scared too!

my mother would have had a heart attack if she even knew I shaved my legs as a teenager ( I did it anyway). If my dd was at least 15 or 16 I have no problem at all with her getting a wax its proper hygene.
Interesting topic. I think that I would show her how to trim cuz sometimes those bottoms don't cover all the hair that sticks out on the sides and stuff. My daughter is 13 and way more hair down there than I ever had at that age. There is no way that she would be getting a brazillion!
