A former Nebraska Catholic school girl who claims she was bullied in high school for her career ambitions just got sentenced to 45 days in jail for her act of "revenge" on her alma mater.
19-year-old Valerie Dodds broke into Lincoln Pius X High School in May 2013 to pose for a series of lewd photographs. She was apparently snapped nude on the football field, and touching herself elsewhere on campus. The teenager has big career aspirations in the adult film industry, and feels that her former teachers and classmates bullied her for that dream.
Valerie, who now goes by Val Midwest, claims that she posted the naughty pics of herself at the high school as an act of "revenge" against the alleged bullying she received when she expressed her career choices.
After she published the pics, she stated, "Everyone in my high school had something nasty to say to me when I started my website, so this is my tribute to all of you."
I'm guessing that there probably were some people with nasty things to say, because let's face it -- there will always be nasty people saying nasty things. However, I'd dare to venture a guess that a lot of those people were just trying to tell her that the porn industry isn't exactly the best work environment for females, and that she doesn't need to have sex on tape to make a living.
Her attorney says that 45 days is the longest sentence he's heard of for indecent exposure, and is appealing the decision.
Meanwhile, Dodds tweeted "Jail bait baby," to her followers, and seems to be taking the taking the jail time in stride. Before she went behind bars on Wednesday, she told a local news station, "I'm taking it as a really bad vacation. I'm not going to work or do anything ... I feel like I'm harmless as to what I did, and they are definitely bringing the hammer as far as the sentencing goes."
I don't know, it looks like she maybe got exactly what she wanted in the end -- notoriety.
Do you think the punishment was too harsh or did Valerie get what she deserved?
