A 13-year-old girl in Britain has an IQ of 162, which is in close range with two of the smartest men in history: Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. Anything over 140 is considered genius level. But Neha Ramu isn't letting her high IQ go to her head. (Get it?) She says that her astronomical IQ, which got her admitted into Mensa and which is the highest score that can be reached on an IQ test, doesn't mean she's more "clever" than anyone else. "If I don't put in my effort and make use of my IQ then there's no point in having it," she says. Yet it already sounds like she is going to do something amazing with it.
Neha's favorite subjects are chemistry and math -- and she says she hardly studies! Yet, she says she "struggles" with art and music. That's okay, Neha. We have enough arty types in the world. You stick with that math and chemistry, girl.
Neha hopes to go to Harvard to study neurology. Ah, so nice to hear about a teen who doesn't want to be a fashion designer or have her own reality show.
As crazy impressive as this is, believe it or not, there is a Mensa member with an IQ of 162 who is -- ready for it? -- 3 years old!!
I don't know about you, but I'm suddenly feeling kinda dumb.
Do you know your IQ?
