Sure, cute animals or Tosh.0-type freak shows are always popular on YouTube, but in an era when we can thank Glee for inspiring kids of all ages to get into musical extracurriculars, there's almost always a brand new truly amazing viral video to be watched. A video in which real kids with real talent are making real music. And they pretty much blow your minds.
Almost a year ago, we were treated to a kids' chorus covering Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory." Now, a video of the Impulse Handbell Ensemble, a group of high school students from the Morganville, New Jersey area, covering Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," has hit the web and it's equally as awe-inspiring. And not just because it's not every day that you see a handbell choir perform! Check it out ...
Wow, right? Not only are these kids obviously so dedicated to what they do, but they enjoy it as well. And it shows! I also have to give them props for being pretty brave to take on "Rolling in the Deep," of all hits. As they say on The Voice, anyone who opts to cover Adele is generally setting themselves up for a rough critique, but not these teens. In fact, I'd venture to guess that if Adele herself saw this video, the new mom would be psyched to "sing" their praises.
How cool is this performance?
