No chance of locking Ryan Lochte down. Apparantly, the sexy swimmer doesn't like his relationships to last much longer than a 4x200 relay race.
During an interview on Today, the Olympian's mom dished about her son's sex life. He's so busy keeping that phenomenal physique competition ready, he doesn't have time for a long-term romance. "He goes out on one-night stands," Ike Lochte shared. "He's not able to give fully to a relationship because he's always on the go." Disappointing? Yes. But mostly because of where this intel comes from. No mother should be chatting about her son's sex life. Yuck!
I don't care how many times she's asked about his relationship status -- and I'm sure it's a lot -- her only reply should be, "He's single" or "He hasn't found the right girl" or even just "He's too busy for a girlfriend right now." All acceptable answers and all infinitely more appropriate than what she revealed.

Don't get me wrong. I am all for boys being close to their mothers. I'm married to a mama's boy and I am probably raising one. But there are some lines moms just should not cross. Parents need to stay out of their grown children's bedrooms. It's weird to hear and, more importantly, it's incredibly off-putting to future girlfriends. It's like, does your mother have to poke her nose into EVERY aspect of your life? He clearly needs to set some limits.
This is just as odd as when Jessica Simpson's dad Joe gushed about her breasts. "Jessica never tries to be sexy. She just is sexy. If you put her in a T-shirt or you put her in a bustier, she's sexy in both. She's got double D's! You can't cover those suckers up!" he quipped. He's a nice guy, I'm sure, and didn't mean it to come off as sleazy and strange, but it did.
Now, the other tidbits she shared were perfectly mom-like: “Everything he has done has been to the max,” she said. “He’s unique, loving, and he challenges himself all the time.” That's plenty.
Besides, Ryan isn't exactly coy about his love life. Before the games, he was clear about wanting to have some commitment-free fun: "My last Olympics, I had a girlfriend -- big mistake," he told ESPN The Magazine. "Now I'm single, so London should be really good. I'm excited." And if you are so lucky to land a night with Lochte, keep this little tidbit in mind: he likes to sleep naked! I just hope Mrs. Lochte doesn't know that too!

jessica sipmosns dad was creepier.
i think this is open relationship with his mommy. put to much mrs.lochte..to much.
Agreed! Gross!!
I am really hoping she meant that he dates without committing to a relationship. You know how parents get: sometimes they use the wrong euphemism because it meant something different in "their day."
i saw this and it was gross. Really it was haha
After reading the last paragraph of the article, my response is: it's odd that you think his mother shouldn't know something that he has apparently announced to the whole world.
The sex lives and the purported/manufactured personas of America's beloved athletes seem to be making headlines more often than their actual on field achievements. Perhaps this portrays the shift in the media's goals to shape these sports stars into promiscuous sex objects rather than role models.
In other words welcome to the gladiator with a tawdry history worthy of Lindsay Lohan's applause…
